*Celery Flakes can replace fresh celery in soups or other recipes, add flavor to potato salads or barbecue rubs.
*Parsley is a vegetable in many soups, stews, and casseroles. An ingredient in stocks, soups, and sauces. Green salads, and on open sandwiches with cold cuts or pâtés.
*Basil Sweet and fragrant (dry or fresh) basil complements tomato-based dishes including pizza, pasta and marinara sauce. Pairs well with vegetable, chicken, pork or seafood.
*Oregano used with roasted, fried, or grilled vegetables, sauces, salads, meat, and fish. Oregano combines well with spicy foods.
*Bay leaf used in soups, stews, meat, seafood, vegetable dishes, and sauces. In soups and stocks add 5-10 minutes before the end of cooking and remember to remove after. Bay leaf flavor compliments very well meat in stocks. If you do not want to use the whole leaf you can use ground bay leaf (use ¼ teaspoon to 2 to 3 leaves).
