Cinnamon Bread
Ingredients:

1 cup of softened butter

2 cups of sugar

2 eggs

2 cups of buttermilk (or 2 cups of milk plus 2 tablespoons of vinegar or lemon juice)

4 cups of flour

2 teaspoons of baking soda

2/3 cups of sugar

2 teaspoons of cinnamon
Directions:

Mix the butter, 2 cups of sugar, and eggs.

Add milk, flour, and baking soda.

Put 1/2 of batter (or a little less) into 2 greased loaf pans (1/4 in each pan).

Mix the 2/3 cups of sugar and cinnamon in a separate bowl.

Sprinkle 3/4 of the cinnamon mixture onto the top of the 1/2 batter in each pan.

Add the remaining batter to the pans. Sprinkle on the last of the cinnamon topping.

Swirl it with a knife. Bake it at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Let it cool in a pan for 20 minutes before removing it.
