Pastry Pinwheels
Ingredients:

2 pie crusts homemade or refrigerated

butter (softened at room temperature)

white sugar
-
ground cinnamon

Directions:

Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray or cover it with non-stick aluminum foil or parchment paper.

Roll (or unroll if refrigerated and pre-made) into a rectangle.

Spread butter evenly over pie crusts.

Sprinkle white sugar evenly over each pie crust.

Sprinkle cinnamon evenly over the pie crusts.

Roll tightly into a log.

Slice into 1/2-inch slices and lay onto a prepared baking sheet. Can put next to each other or separate. Sprinkle any extra cinnamon and sugar mix for a sweeter finish.

Bake in an oven at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until crust is lightly brown and sugar has started to caramelize.

Remove from the oven. Let them cool for 5 minutes.
